Genealogy Level 1: an Introduction

May 7, 2022 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Free

Get started in genealogy! If you’re wondering how to begin your family research journey, the staff at Flower Library are here to help. This workshop will cover the basics, including:

  • Determining the goal of your research
  • Discovering what supplies work the best
  • A brief overview of the resources available, accessible from both your own home as well as at the library
  • Research tips and tricks

This class will be taught in person at the library, so you’ll have time to explore the resources while you are here. Be sure to bring any work that you have already started as well as any research questions you have.

Please note that this class will be taught for the beginning researcher by a beginning researcher!

Adults welcome. No registration is necessary! Face masks must be worn while attending this event. Library staff can provide you with one if needed. Contact Ashley with questions at 315-785-7714.
