Senator Patty Ritchie is a Friend to Libraries, again!

Senator Patty Ritchie secured $2000 for Flower Memorial Library! As she said in the letter, "Libraries play a very important role in our communities and I thank you for the work you do to improve access to books, technology, culture and opportunities for learning in our region."

Just a few months ago, she secured a grant for $100,000 for the new HVAC system at Flower Library in Watertown.

See our Thank You video to Senator Ritchie for the HVAC grant!

Thank you Senator Ritchie!

2016 Battle of the Books Winners

Our library is proud to announce that the winners of our local Battle of the Books 2016 competition are the Nerds! This was a bittersweet victory as this was the last year that the returning champs were eligible to compete.

I'd also like to thank all of our participants and their families--I was blown away not only by how well you knew the books, but with how well you treated one another by being great sports. I walked away this year excited about leading you and already looking forward to the next year. My teams are rock stars!

BUBBLE Time!

Kids: Library Lego Club
