Ongoing Summer Programs!

Historic Library Tours- Every Friday in the summer join us to learn about our library history! The tours begin in the rotunda at 10 am and 11 am. These tours are free for all interested ages.

Summer Reading Games & Activities- Check the circulation desk weekly through July & August for a new game or activity. Place your completed entry into the flowerpot for a chance to win a prize!

Summer Book Reviews- Read any book between July 12 and August 30. Complete a short book review (forms available at the Main Circulation Desk). Place your completed entry into the flowerpot for a chance to win a prize!

Clean Living with Essential Oils- Saturday July 20, 11 am- 1 pm, in the Old Watertown Room. Join us to learn how to remove toxins from your daily life and replace them with natural, healthier alternatives. Hosted by Jaimie Hughes.

Kahoot!: Space, Fandoms, and Conspiracy Theories Trivia- Tuesday July 23, 4 pm-5 pm, in the 1812 Room. Put your knowledge to the test with this fun trivia game! Make sure to have your smart phone or tablet with you!

At the Movies- Tuesday July 23, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm, in the South Reading Room. Enjoy the movie classic "Jaws" (1975, PG).

"Off the Hook" Knit and Crochet Group- Wednesday July 24, 6 pm-7:30 pm, in the Old Watertown Room.Please bring your own knitting needles or hooks, yarn, and current project you are working on!

Family Movie Matinees- Friday July 26, 3 pm-4:30 pm in the Community Room. Enjoy the space classic "Muppets from Space" (1999, G) & a snack.

Open Sewing Lab- Tuesday July 30, 2 pm- 5 pm in the 1812 Room. Need a sewing machine? The library has 4 sewing machines for use in the library. Please note that this is an open sewing lab and not a class. Staff will be on hand to assist with library machines but sewing instructions will not be provided. Can't make these dates and times? Meet & Greet Darth Vader AND watch Star Wars: The Last Jedi- Wednesday July 31 beginning at 4 pm. Meet and greet Lord Vader (bring your light saber and a camera). After you meet Darth, enjoy the movie "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" (2017, PG-13) & a snack.

Iris Folding- Saturday August 3, 10:30 am-12 pm in the Community Room. Learn the art of iris paper folding. Limited to 24 participants.

Fandom Fun: Spider-Man- Sunday August 4, 2 pm- 4 pm, in the Community Room. Create a timeless decor piece celebrating what comes with great power. Limited to 24 participants.

Coffee Klatch for Seniors- Wednesday August 7, 9:15 am-11:15 am in the Community Room. Bring your favorite drink or enjoy a cup of regular coffee (creamer and sugar) and light morning refreshments. We will also take a trip down memory lane and watch old television shows.
