We are in Stage 2 of our re-opening.

Welcome Back Inside!

Patrons will be allowed to enter the Library! You will be limited to designated areas on our Main Level only. A maximum of 20 patrons will be allowed inside at a time. Masks and social distancing will be required. If you are not comfortable with coming inside or wearing a mask, you will use our curbside pickup service. (See below for more information.)

New materials for all ages will be available for browsing in the designated main level area. If you pull a title off the shelf and decide not to borrow, we ask that you place the item on the designated cart for staff cleaning. Please do not reshelve these items.

Patrons will not be able to browse or visit the other collection areas of the Library at this time. Play areas and seating are also unavailable.

Borrowing Materials

Patrons are encouraged to continue placing holds using the online catalog (www.ncls.org) or calling the Library at 315.785.7707 for staff assistance.

We are returning to how holds were originally handled. Materials will no longer be checked out in advance. You will receive an email when your requested items are available for pickup.

When ready for checkout at the Circulation Desk, please place your library card with barcode face up on the countertop for staff to quickly scan and access your account.

Curbside Service

If you are using this service, when you arrive at the Library please park in one of the designated spots and call 315.785.7707. A staff member will bring your materials out to you.

Computers and WiFi

A limited number of computers will be available for patron use. A library card will still be needed to sign-on. Patrons are encouraged to clean their computer surfaces before and after use. Supplies will be provided.

WiFi is available. Laptop work areas will not be available at this time. Only available seating will be for those using library-owned computers.

Printing, copying and faxing services will also be available at their standard fee. Cash only. No cards.
