Soon, registered voters of the Watertown School District will receive their school ballots in the mail. These ballots will also include a funding request from the Flower Library. The City's budget for the library has reduced funding for all library materials (children's books, ebooks, etc.) to $10,000. The school ballot paperwork will include an opportunity to vote on additional funding for library materials. For an additional $4.73 per year (per $100,000 of assessed value), the library will receive $75,000 for library materials and other vital services. The school ballots must be returned in the stamped self addressed envelope by June 9th. Please call or email Flower Library if you have any questions regarding the additional funding for the library.
