Senior Planet: Online Health Resources

The topic for October 22nd -- Online Health Resources

The internet can be an excellent source for learning more about your or a loved one’s health. This presentation will introduce you to the topics and tools offered on two reputable websites, MedlinePlus and Mayo Clinic. You’ll also learn how to evaluate health-related information online.

In partnership with non-profit, Older Adults Technology Services, the library hopes to bridge the gap between older adults and technology through a lecture series. Lectures will be held every Tuesday from 11 am - 1pm from now through early October. The lectures are designed for an audience age 60+.

For more information regarding any of these lectures, please contact Amanda at 315.785.7714.

This series was made possible through Central Library Development Aid provided by the State of New York.
