The Friends of the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library Board is pleased to present "Hidden In Plain Sight: An Evening with the Art of the Flower Memorial Library."

Known as one of the most beautiful buildings in all of northern New York, the Flower Memorial Library is home to treasures "hidden in plain sight." We're talking about breathtaking and historically significant works of art. Here's your chance to enjoy a fun-filled art gallery approach to discovering these gems—including a rare opportunity to visit a room dedicated to the Daughters of the American Revolution, which features one of the few existing portraits of Martha Washington—and learn about their rich history, all while you savor fine music, food from Savory Downtown and cocktails.

This special event will help raise funds to complete the library's new "Family Floor," an area designed to better serve our patrons. It will be located on the main floor and will include a family computer area, a children's reading, craft and story time space, a teen room and a meeting facility.

Tickets are available for purchase at the library, from Friends board members, and online at The cost is $40 per person for general admission and $30 per person for Friends. There will be an opportunity for people to sign up for a Friend membership at the event.

To date, the event’s generous sponsors include the Cascanet Family, Northern New York Community Foundation, Watertown Savings Bank, RBC Wealth Management, The Morgia Group at HighTower, Renzi Foodservice, Bridgeview Real Estate Services, Samaritan Medical Center, The Couch Group at UBS Financial Services, Purcell Construction, Watertown Elks Lodge 496, BCA Architects & Engineers, Timeless Frames, Edward Joy Electric, WWNY-TV 7 News, WNYF Fox 28, MeTV and the Watertown Daily Times.
