If you are looking for a way to help out a nonprofit organization, you might want to donated used books, magazines, DVD's and CD's that you no longer need.
They will be sold at the annual book sale to help generate funds for programs and projects at the library.

Please do not drop off books at Flower Memorial Library. Due to construction, there is limited space available.
In order to provide services to the library, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals just like you, we wouldn't be able to serve the Flower Memorial Library.
- Go to www.nnycf.org
- Click on "Giving" at the top of the page.
- Click on "Donate Online".
- Click on "Donate".
- Enter the amount you wish to donate and method of payment.
- Under "Add Special Instructions to Seller" type in "Donations for Friends of the Flower Memorial Library".
- Finish payment information and click "Donate Now".
- You will receive a confirmation e-mail.
Any donation to the Friends of the Library can be tax deductible and is greatly appreciated. Regardless of how much you donate, your donation is used to purchase more materials for the library.
Monthly meetings of the Friends Board are the first Wednesday of each month at 4:00 pm at the library.
What is the Friends of the Library Group?
The Friends Group is a volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the resources of the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library. Among other activities, the Friends Group organizes fundraising events, book slaes and provides gifts and endowments tothe library.
What do we do?
The Friends of the Roswell P. Flower Memorial Library was founded so that members of the community may become active participants in the Library.
Some Friend's activities include organizing fund-raising events, holding book sales, supporting volunteer activities and encouraging gifts and endowments.

People aged 10 to 100 can find volunteer opportunities with the Library's Friends Group that match their schedule, interests, and skills. Members of the Friends Group can contribute a few hours every week, volunteer once a month, or be involved in events from time to time during the year. Our volunteer schedules are flexible and designed to fit into a busy calendar.
